Challenge to State's education law

Bill Chapman. Marty Van Oot and Maria Proulx, representing The New Hampshire Communities for Adequate Funding of Education, a coalition of 19 school districts and towns, prevailed in their challenge to the State's education law. The NH Supreme Court held that the State has failed to define a constitutionally adequate education and must do so before June 30, 2007. If the State fails to do so the court said it might impose a remedy. For more information on this important issue, go to www.nhcafe.org
