Orr & Reno successfully secures rezoning of property for Northeast Delta Dental in Concord, New Hampshire

The Concord City Council overwhelmingly approved the rezoning of property located at South Commercial Street in Concord’s Opportunity Corridor, sought by Orr & Reno Land Use attorneys Richard Y. Uchida and Michael T. Cretella on behalf of Northeast Delta Dental. Founded in 1961, Northeast Delta Dental is a premier dental benefits provider, administering benefits to nearly 740,000 people throughout Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The rezoned property abuts Delta Dental’s Concord Corporate Headquarters. Though the rezoning proposal encountered early opposition, Attorneys Uchida and Cretella successfully worked with abutters, the city economic development advisory committee, conservation groups, City Staff, the Mayor and many City Councilors to achieve the rezoning vote in February, 2012, which one Councilor described as a “win-win” for all involved.
