Lisa specializes in advising health care organizations on a variety of daily legal questions including Medicare/Medicaid, Stark and Fraud/Abuse compliance, EMTALA, HIPAA, quality assurance, and consent issues. She also is an experienced litigator, having tried cases to verdict in both state and federal courts.
Lisa's experience includes:
- Serving as lead defense counsel in a trial of consolidated, multi-defendant, latex glove products liability cases which resulted in defense verdicts that were upheld on appeal
- Litigating complex products liability including medical devices
- Medical malpractice defense
- Personal injury cases for both domestic and foreign clients
