Jack is a business lawyer with experience in corporate, real estate, tax matters and estate planning.
Before joining Orr & Reno, Jack practiced in Washington, D.C. and Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to entering law school, Jack worked as a certified public accountant with a national accounting firm in New York City.
Jack's experience includes:
- Counseling large and small companies in private securities offerings, debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions and joint ventures and other complex
transactions
- Counseling developers, investors and lenders in commercial real estate and lending transactions
- Counseling landlords and tenants in negotiating office, warehouse and retail leases
- Structuring tax-efficient transactions and entities
- Counseling clients on estate planning and business succession issues
- Representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Claims
