Experience
Jim is a trial attorney with experience in both the state and federal courts. Jim joined Orr & Reno after practicing for several years with Arent Fox in Washington, D.C. While in law school, he served a judicial externship with Chief Justice Paul Barbadoro in the U.S. District Court in New Hampshire. He also was a law clerk to the Legal Department for the Public Service Company of New Hampshire, a Northeast Utilities Company.
Jim's experience includes:
- Litigating commercial and tort cases in state and federal court
- Defending employers in OSHA civil enforcement actions
- Representing employers in OSHA inspections and civil enforcement actions before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, and state agencies
